LMTV is a unique cross cultural experience program that connects people from around the world with local communities in Tanzania. The 1-6 months long program offers a powerful vision built on our belief that volunteers and local communities have a vital role to play in development and in building a more just and sustainable world community.

LMTV program offer variety of opportunities to experience different cultures, meet people from different countries, learn new or improve skills, take part in peace making and hands-on on various community development projects. It is an exceptional option for people to gain experience in service projects and increase understanding in world issues.

2 - 3 Week Volunteer Projects

Workcamps last around 2-3 weeks and seek to provide an experience that connects service, culture, professional and personal growth. While the service we offer does improve the quality of life for others, it is equally important as a time to reflect on our own lives.

The workcamps go beyond the familiar road of commercial society, taking us outside of our comforts so that we can spend the time in someone else’s shoes. By working with people in various cultures, we learn to recognize the world we all share. We hope that by serving others you will rediscover yourself and you will have a better understanding of your own values and responsibilities as a global citizen.
